Is your strawberry plant in full sun? If not that could be the problem. If it is in full sun, you could try giving it a low dose of plant food, but don't overdo it because if it is under stress, plant food could cause more stress. And if you only planted it 6 days ago, give it time to adjust to its new surroundings.
Egg plants aren't vines that I am aware of. It is more of an upright plant, though they may tend to fall over and appear to be vining. The flowers are bell-shaped, light purple and about the size of your thumbnail. The leaves are largish dark purplish green and rough with serrated edges.

I agree with the first two responders. I think its your strawberry plant sending out "runners" or vines for new plants. Lots of time, and tender care will give you a bountiful harvest of strawberries someday.I keep a calendar handy with the dates each item is planted and the maturity dates. I also am able to keep track of my fertilizing and pest control dates. No guess work.Gardening is supposed to be relaxing, not stressful. Dedication and patience are key ingredients to a great garden. Good Luck & Peace2U.

if your straw berry plant was a seed when you planted it,it will take more than 6 days to grow.it will take up to 6-8 weeks!
if not, and it is just a baby plant, then you have to give it some time to grow.because once u put it in to the ground,it goes in to shock because of all the movement.then after a while,it will get used to the ground and will get healthy.

You have 'a' strawberry plant? It's sending out runners to make more plants. You won't see any growth above ground, except for babies that will emerge a few inches away from it. They grow off the roots of the parent plant. Try waiting six weeks, you won't see any plant change very much in six days.
