Hi Guys,
My boss told me to buy water repellent for a wool coat I would be wearing to Europe this month. When I applied the repellent (tectron dwr) durable, it turned my brand new black coat into a grey sticky mess. I am totally devastated. Has anyone had experience with this stuff, and will it be possible for the dry cleaners to remove the residue...I'm ready to sue the company in small claims....I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I have checked all the hoses at Lowes and Home Depot and they all say that they are not safe for drinking. So, if you also know where to buy it please let me know. :) Thanks!!

Is there any way to restore something to it's original size after it has shrunk in the wash? B/c I have a sweater that I put in the dryer and it shrunk. It's 100% nylon tho, if that helps. any suggestions are welcome.

I have issues with my big screen TV. I hate it. LOL! It is the biggest thing in the world even though it's not bulky. [60in flat screen]

It seems that no matter what entertainment center it's on [I just made a new one] that our whole living room is overwelmed by it.

I hate big screens but my husband really wanted one so we ended up getting a bigger one a while back.

Any suggestions on how to take the focus from the TV to the homey feel we used to have? Thanks!

Problem.

The drain plumbing is leaking. The home is 20 years old, and the plumbing here is metal. The setup is as follows: Double sink joined under the sink emptying into a single outgoing drain. Also, a dishwasher inlet is connected to the waste flow of one of the drain piping.

How hard a job is to replace all the plumbing leading from the sink drain into the outlet drain (no leaking here)? Can I use plastic instead of metal? If I can use plastic, is it practical for me to do it myself (with good advise, I can do most anything, like change the brakes on my car)?

Are there any articles on how to do this?

If I send for a plummer, how much $ can I expect to replace the pipes from the kitchen drain?

My son plays sports - every day. His Tshirts smell of body odor. I usually wash them in vinegar and hot water - which helps, but sometimes it doesn't get rid of the entire smell. Any suggestions?

the fiberglass is still intact as far as I can tell but the liner is ruined. I want to dig it out and possibly build a small structure to cover it.

We have an 80 gal hot water heater and after just 2 wash loads and 2 showers, we're out of hot water. My husband has never drained off any sediment (I think you're supposed to do that), and I have no idea how old it is. What maintenance is supposed to be done on a hot water heater and how can we improve its performance?
