You can train grape vines to grow on most anything. They can grow on a trellis, or something of that sort, because most like to climb. Or a garden overhang, where they will eventually cover the whole top if you put one on each side, but be careful it is not too close to your back door, because bees like the grapes when ripe.

Yes, vines. The vines become thicker and woody over the years. Grape vines can live a very long time.

i admire flora, extraordinarily fruit bareing ones, whether, I in basic terms offered a house with a grape vine turning out to be on the fence, it has grow to be very great and extremely heavy. The fence is leaning and the tops of the fence is breaking off. additionally the moisture is rotting the fence so regrettably I had to eliminate it. Now the fence is in terrible disrepair and that i do no longer understand what Im going to do. possibly you may decrease it back some and prepare it to strengthen someplace this is made to help it (assuming the fence isn't made to help it). Our fence is a 6 ft timber privateness fence.
