I have rabbits in my back yard and the leaves are poisonous to them. I'd like to put them in pots in the landscaped area of our front (urban area CC&Rized) yard. There is nothing written against it... but I don't want the front yard to look Odd.

My daughter found a stick in the yard, I have no idea what kind of wood it is, it has this squiggly line in it, like something ate a path. It's very random and varies in width from 1/10 cm to 1/2 cm. The stick doesn't have any bark on it. We can't figure out if this was created by an insect, worm or person, but she's determined to find out what this squiggly line is. Any ideas??

Grout is too light and looks stained. I used "spray" sealer from Lowes... wondering if that was not the best. Can I just get a different color and spread it over the same way I did when I put the floor in the first time?

Should I seal it differently?

I live in Central Indiana, and have inherited several trees. Apple, pear, cherry... when do I spray them so I won't have worms and such in them?
Thanks

My wife wants me to add a keypad to our garage door opener so the kids can enter the house through the garage door instead of needing a key to enter the house.

Is this an easy diy installation for someone that barely knows what a screwdriver is?

Are there important differences, for security, and dependability, between keypads?

If so, what kind of grease and where do you put it? Mine is making quite a bit of noise which makes me think I should be doing something.

We're building a new home and I am in love with the idea of darker hardwood (like walnut) or a stain which would darken another type of wood. I'm looking for a walnut type appearance, including on the stairs. If anyone has any input about their own experience, I would be very appreciative. Thank you so much!

I have tried different combinations of detergent, baking soda, febreeze and fabric softener. Most of the smell is gone, but I can't seem to get it to go away completely. It really is a beautiful comforter set, it would be a shame to have to get rid of it because of the smell.

this is not a very old machine and the same thing happen to the last machine. It also gets mouldy near where the powder should be put, although I do not use washing powder but prefer liquid which goes in with the washing.

many thanks.

I just recently bought the new Borat DVD and a new guitar and they both came with XL t-shirts. I wear a medium and I want to shirk these down to that size(or as close as possible). Any suggestions aside from the dryer(which I don't have) or boiling them? Why do so many of us Americans have to be so fat?

I'm interested in getting some house plants/flowers for my apartment and wanted to know what types are good. I like colorful plants.

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend removed a single piece of wood flooring near the bathroom because the floor had started to crown where the wood of the hallway meets the tile of the bathroom (maybe due to water under the floor.. we aren't sure; however, the apartment building we live in is responsible for under the floors, pipes, and things of that nature... but we can't afford to redo the whole floors). After he removed the single piece of wood, the floor went down; however, the piece that was removed will no longer fit back in (it's maybe 40 inches long by 3 inches wide). The size of the space now (after shrinking) is 40" by 2 1/2", so we need to trim the piece by 1/2 inch. We live in a small apartment, so it would make no sense to buy an expensive tool like a chain saw. Would a hand saw do the job?

We have tried a floor scraper - did not do the job. We have tried an air chisel - did not do the job. The only sure way so far is a flat end crowbar and a sledge hammer and a lot of sweat.
