My daughter loves to draw on the walls with pencils and markers, and these drawings do not wash out, so I need to paint the walls. The color on the walls is white, but I would like to use light pink color. So my question is: should I apply white color first to hide the drawings OR should I apply the pink color from the beginning? And If I don't need to apply a white color first, then should I apply 2 layers of pink color or 1 is enough?
Thank you for your answers!

I am in town for the week and am overwhelmed by all of my parents stuff in the house. They don't have much room in their small house to store things, so I am trying to find a good solution. One of the main things they have collected is mail, and lots of it. Bills and things they don't want to throw away. All of their toys for their grandchildren are out too. Plus lots of other things. Just curious on any ideas on how to get them better organized and clean this mess?

How long should I wait for new growth before I give up the ghost and go for something more climate tolerant(I live in Queen Creek AZ) Thanks in advance!

Ok, my fiance and I are in the middle of redecorating our house. We have $1000 left out of our budget. We have everything but the paint and curtains. What paints would go well with navy blue furniture for the living room? Also, what colors would go well with maroon bedding? Last thing, should I do any accent walls or paint them the same color? Oh, one more thing. I am also wanting to paint the trim around the windows and between the walls and the ceiling. Thanks in advance.

We had a handyman over to hear the noise and, of course, it didn't do it while he was here! We hear an internal dripping in our wall at our house. Directly overhead is a bathroom but we haven't used the bathroom (anything in it) for a week and it still drips in the wall downstairs. We thought it was a drainage line dripping but it doesn't seem to be it. It doesn't do it all the time, so we do not believe it is a supply line.

We cut the heat off downstairs to see if it impacted the noise. It started doing it again about 8 hours later with the heat still off.

It sounds like a metallic "plunking" noise with water dripping. The handyman said he seem baffled by it as it doesn't sound like a supply problem (not doing it all the time) or a drainage problem (we haven't used the bathroom overhead).

The noise is driving me crazy. Any ideas?

If it matters, the house also has a sump pump and a humidifer type machine. The house is 1.5 years old.
