I would go with a cherry wood for all wood tables etc... either that or wrought iron in black... your decision. As for linens, I would look at something with a hint of gold and burgandy.
lamps.... gold silk shades

Hey There!
I was just browsing around on Yahoo Answers and came across this question of yours.
Dark greens, purples and golds would be good accent colors. As far as furniture color, that all depends on what stain the rest of the furniture is.
Since you're doing some decorating, I wanted to mention that I’m an IKEA Regional Manager and was informed of a private website at my last regional managers meeting that ended up to be a promotion we’re doing.
This website is giving away several hundred $1,000 IKEA Giftcards for just putting in your zipcode. It’s a marketing campaign they are doing to see what areas of the country people are interested in IKEA!
You can’t go wrong… Just put in your zipcode and get a $1,000 IKEA Giftcard.
You could do some SERIOUS DECORATING for the free $1,000 from this giveaway they are doing!
Heck, you could even get the FREE Giftcard and sell it on ebay and go buy stuff somewhere else with the money you just made!

Unless your willing to repaint the dining room to a neutral color I would absolutely go with cream and brown colored pillows for the couch, cream colored sheers for the windows for the lamp shades you could go with a chestnut colored wicker shade and a dark base, the tables I would go with a southwestern natural pine with dark pulls. Keep it simple because with the dining room walls you have to be careful or if you want to get a little crazier just paint your dining room a more neutral light color., and maybe one wall that red. good luck let me know if you like the suggestions

Depends on the look that you are going for....eclectic or tone on tone? I also have a chocolate sofa and love seat , mine are in leather. My walls are a tone of brown....my drapes are silk...burgundy in tone. I have two end tables that I refinished...in a darker stain..my coffee table is another tone of wood..more pine...aged brown. Your best bet is to go to your local library or book store look through some magazines are decide on a style that you love. Decorating isnt about what is right or wrong..choose things that you love and go with that. Your lamps dont need to match...as long as they are similar in scale.... buy things you love...its your home! I put suede throw pillows in shades of brown with fun accessories around the room. I would recommend adding some greenery... a small topiary tree or a plant that you love the look of. Have fun...life is too short!!

So far the rooms sounds beautiful.
You could stick with the red and use accessories in that color.
Also gold would look nice next to the brown and red. Purple and green can round out your color scheme.Use those on curtains and sofa pillows.
I wish I could see it.
Good luck

1. This isn't true. I'm heterosexual and I am a heck of a decorator and designer. 2. I would certainly hope that you think homosexuals have more value as people than to be decorators? God bless.

I think you should get more accessories/furniture with more of a deep set colors since you already have dark choco./burgandy/and beige. I would recommend curtains that has textures in it...Maybe a tan color? But please, just don't get any furniture/accessories that is way out of proportion and is out of the scheme.
Good luck!

take a piece of your couch color, snip from underneath, and then take it to the store, get burgandy pillows for couch. look at maybe a border that has chocolate and burgandy in it, with some green, then you can work with three colors instead of two, also for your endtables, what color of wood do you like, almost any color wood will look fine. when you buy things to put on your endtables like frames go with antiqued silver finish, how beautiful this will be.
