These bugs are on the sunny side of my house (house is covered in dryvit which is similar to stucco) and I don't know how to identify them so I can go about getting rid of them, since they tend to come in my house. On more than one occasion, I've caught my toddler trying to catch a live one. My neighbors do not seem to have bugs living on their houses. I'm having a hard time finding a website that can help. Any ideas?

14 pcs 2-40 W flourescent bulbs with aluminum reflector and louver. the FL are distributed in two columns, so there are 7 in each column. Then between the columns of FL and at the sides, there are compact FL (18 W), so there are 6 of them in 3 columns...is it enough to light the room properly?i don't want to use incasdescent bulbs because they generate too much heat and a dimmer would cost also...the room is 145 sq meters...help?

We have done 2 tests for Radon Gas and both have come back around 15. What is the best solution for a homeowner to fix the problem? Is there an inexpensive fix that the homeowner can do, or do you have to spend big money with contractor... If I have to call a contractor, what would I look under in the yellow pages?

We have well water with low pH. It is causing the copper pipes to corrode and blue/green stains in the tub. In addition, there is a film on the water, it happens in glasses, pots, the toilet. It forms almost a delicate crust if left undisturbed. Is this related to the copper? If not, any ideas what it might be? The water was tested, but nothing out of the ordinary (apart from pH).

My wife and I just replaced our old mattress (this time by ordering on the Internet}. Receiving our new mattress by mail presents a problem we hadn't considered -- what to do with the old mattress? Previously, when we purchased a new mattress from a local store, the delivery guys would take away the old mattress. We live in Santa Monica. Any ideas?

So I painted my accent wall what I thought was bronze per the sample, but dried into a burnt orange. Lucky me, it is one of my favorite colors, but not at all what I expected to be on my wall this morning. This twist kind of screws up my plans for the other walls, which were to be a light beige...that now seems questionable. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what is a nice color - preferably more neutral and way less bold than burnt orange - that will compliment the color?

I need to install several wooden fence posts on top of a city installed cement box culvert. Whoever originally installed the posts simply set them on top and relied on the rails to support them. I need to know if there is a more durable way to re-inforce the posts. My best idea is to drill a hole through the top of the box culvert (a 3" slab) and install some rebar, then insert the rebar into pre-drilled holes in each post. If you have any suggestions...please send them my way.
