I just moved into a nice apartment, but I was told not to clean the granite countertops with usual kitchen cleaners, then what am I supposed to use?

NO AMMONIA!!!! That will ruin it!
You basically can't use anything like bleach, windex, soft scrub etc. Anything harsh will kill it.
What I use is a basic antibacterial soap - Palmolive (Dawn sometimes leaves a weird coating on top)
Afterwards dry it off and use a granite polish like once a day. Target sells one that's realllllly good. It's just a basic granite cleaner but it polishes it and leaves it with a smooth gloss surface.
Don't forget to have it resealed once a year so you don't dull the surface.

There are special cleaners for granite and stone. Since it is natural stone, it is porous, and must be cleaned and disinfected regularly. Home Depot or Lowes carry them, as do other stores. However, those cleaners don't leave it as shining as I like; so I experimented and found two products that work really well, and don't seem to harm it. I use either the cleaner for glass-top stoves - you know, the solid cook surface kind - rub it on, then buff it off. And the second product, which is very easy to use and leaves a nice clean scent is - Pledge, believe it or not! I use the lemon scented one.

well get your selves up. with a stiff brush and warm water, they told you not to use detergents or soap as this leaves stains and also can cause the granite to crumble
