Are you looking for wood products (mdf, plywood), or wood substitutes (medal, plastic). There are no actual "man made" woods yet, any wood, or wood product, came from a tree.

I can only think of Particle board which like MDF is also prone to warping when exposed to moisture and not recommended for furniture or any expensive type project.

chipboard blockboard plywood hardboard mdf various different types of all of these marine, w.b.p ply etc conti-board is chipboard under a different name. tecgnically though as mike m said there is no such thing as man made wood.... hope this helps
