Running the two ceiling fans will use less energy.

the central air uses more electricity. The AC has at least a 240 volt supply at about 40 amps. The electrical code would let you put 10 ceiling fans on a single110 volt 15 amp circuit. No comparison.

Run the fans. Anything that heats or cools uses more electricity than anything else in your home.
