I am erecting a fence using 8ft concrete posts, what sort of mix do i use instead of mixing cement to fill round posts

You can get ready mixed from B&Q. Just add water and pour it in .

if you have an eight foot post you will need a two foot deep hole ..you don't say how many post holes you will have ..if you but ready mixed stuff it cost an arm and a leg ..cheapest is to buy a large bag of mixed agg..a few bags of cement and the n mix it dry and add water once its in the hole .but it is never as strong as properly mixed concrete what a farmer would do is ..dig the hole ..then back fill ..ramming it down all the time ..and when they are finished..al the soil will be back in the hole ..none over ..and this way the post will never move
