It's really frustrating. I just can't seem to keep my place clean. Is there any way to clean house and clear the clutter without it being such a big chore? Should I just start tossing things out. Every time I try to throw things away, I get stuck wondering if I may have use for it later, so I wind up keeping everything.

The thought of gobal warming scares the crap out of me? Always has. My mind flashes to movies like 'waterworld' and 'day after tomorrow'. I bought a car that gets 31mpg. I recycle cans, but I want to do more.
Thing is, I am up to my a@# in student loans. I don't have alot of time, or money. So building a ecohouse is out of the question, so is donating $50 a month to an eco-charity.

I want to do more. What are some realistic things that I can do?

I am looking at either converting the existing cable in my home into my name or opening a new account with a satelite provider. I've had cable forever but the costs just seem to keep going up while the satelite charges look more reasonable. Which do you have, do you like it, are there hidden costs, would you chose it again?

I love art, and I love to draw.. But I also love to design and decorate ( you should see the plan I have for my two sons' room). I am unsure of which area I want to study in. Which do you think would have a better payoff in life choice and in pay?

My lawn is FULL of crab grass. I want to kill the crab grass and get my lawn back. Is it easier to kill the entire lawn and start from scratch? If so what time of year to do, and what to use?

I installed a new 15 amp light switch in my garage. Its just hooked to a 150watt outdoor flood. Every time I turn the switch off there is a bright blue spark. What could I have done wrong? Should I upgrade to 20amp. By the way this house has really old wiring and there is no ground in the electrical box. Could that be my problem? Please help.

While we were planting some small trees my wife said that composting stuff that hasn't fully composted is bad for new plants. I never heard that before. Would per chance a banana peel or tater peel hurt new plants? She said the stuff that's still breaking down uses energy and nutrients that would otherwise go to feeding the new plants.

We think our 18 month old threw something down into the toilet and flushed it. Whenever it was flushed the water would rise up really high but wouldn't overflow. We snaked it....and a bolt came up. But now whenever the toilet is flushed the water disapears and won't stay in the bowl. Can anyone give me some insight on whats wrong and how much it may cost. We don't have our own sewage system.

Thanks

I am looking for plants that are 3 to 5 ft tall. As the fence is in the back of the yard, during heavy rain this area becomes filled with water. There is mixed sun and shade in the area. I live in St. Louis, Missouri.

The boiler seems to work fine i.e it heats up all the radiators and hot water on demand but the pressure release valve drips quite a lot when the heating is on and the pressure seems to build up to sometimes above 3.5 bar, which is a bit worrying. I bleed the radiators (with the boiler off and cold) which reduces the pressure to around 1.5bars but it just builds up again. any ideas on what's wrong and how to fix it?
