There is a product called Aqua Cure, it is not known to many people as it is used to repair leaks in fishing waders and is available from fishing tackle shops, I have used this for many assorted repairs and is excellent.
Clean around the repair area and apply the solution, and keep the repair level to avoid the solution running, leave overnight and the job is done, re-cap the tube and keep in the freezer for use in the future, when it's needed again simply put the tube into a glass of hot water for about 2 minutes,
it is quite cheap to buy.
For any other readers of this, it is an excellent product and will solve a lot of similar problems and is throughly recommend.

A bit of superglue should do the job fine - Probably not a good idea to use a waterbased glue - for obvious reasons lol
