I am trying to get out weeds, and to get my lawn green, what would be a good product to buy?

Chances are you have Bermuda grass which goes dormant (brown) in the cooler months. In fact anything that is green right now is a weed and you should spray it with Roundup to kill it. Then fertilize and watch it grow and green.

First off.... before you put on any chemicals... have the soil beneath the grass tested... You can get a sampling kit from the local extension office. Find out what the grass needs by the test and then go out and buy the proper mixture of organic fertilizer....
The grass right now is trying to tell you something.... Like a baby crying for a bottle... would you feed your baby the wrong formula ?

Scott's turf builder and weed and feed...don't forget to water regularly...best in the early morning or late evening...not when the sun is shining on it as that will burn it.
