I have upholstery cleaner for my car, but I need to know what I can use on my plush chairs and sofa. I don't want to damage them, and I can't anything specific for it in the store.

Resolve carpet cleaner. After that you can buy Scotch guard to protect your furniture from future dirt. It sprays on & drys. Then you just wipe off for 6 months or more. Then Scotch Guard the furniture.

I use the same stuff that I use in my car on the upholstry- the type I use is called Tuff Stuff and is sold at Wal-Mart. It works really well, but if you keep your sofa and chairs vacuumed regularly they shouldn't need a DEEP cleaning-so the foam cleaners will do the job- just follow directions!

I use resolve carpet cleaner. I have also used degreaser for stains on my furniture & carpet. The only problem w/degreaser is that you must rinse it well!!!
