Hi Guys,
My boss told me to buy water repellent for a wool coat I would be wearing to Europe this month. When I applied the repellent (tectron dwr) durable, it turned my brand new black coat into a grey sticky mess. I am totally devastated. Has anyone had experience with this stuff, and will it be possible for the dry cleaners to remove the residue...I'm ready to sue the company in small claims....I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I have been searching the net and can only find this: http://www.ischem.co.kr/product05_eng.htm
It does not specifically say it is safe for wool though....Other than that I cannot find a thing! I think your boss needs to buy you a new coat! Have you called the company to see if they have any advice? They may have a toll free number on the container it is worth a shot....The cleaners may have what it takes to get it out as well just be sure you can tell them the main ingredients in the water repellent (Take the can with you) so that they know what they are up against.

I honestly hope this helps!!! Have a great and safe time in Europe!!!!
