I AM A MAINTENANCE MAN AND WE SET OURS TO AROUND FORTY DEGREES. THAT WILL KEEP FOOD FRESH WITH OUT FREEZING IT. I TURN MINE DOWN TO 35 IN THE SUMMER CAUSE I LIKE MY DRINKS COLD WHEN IT IS HOT OUTSIDE. SET A GLASS OF WATER IN THE BACK OF THE FRIDGE ON THE TOP SHELF AND IF IT DOESNT FREEZE, YOU WILL BE OKAY. SUGAR FREE DRINKS WILL FREEZE FAST AND AT A LOWER TEMP THAN REGULAR DRINKS AND DRINKS WITH ALCOHOL.

The ideal serving temperature for beer is 42 degrees, anything else should conform to that temp.

try to keep it warm as possible to save energy but if you find food spoiled then turn it down until you don't find it spoiled.
