Is there any way to restore something to it's original size after it has shrunk in the wash? B/c I have a sweater that I put in the dryer and it shrunk. It's 100% nylon tho, if that helps. any suggestions are welcome.

I do not think so....The only suggestion I would have is to wash it again and lay it flat on a towel and try to GENTLY stretch it out while it is still wet.

Hope this helps...If not, donate it to goodwill!

put it on if possible, then go for a swim in a pool if possible.

take a shower with it on till it good and soaked with warm water . the weight alone will stretch it.

then take it off and hang it in the shower on a hanger over the

shower head over night. if it,s hot out where you,re at go

swimming with it on and wear it all day and pull on it while

it,s drying, mostly the sleeves and bottom.

Depending on how much it shrunk, you can try physically stretching it out.

Besides that, you're out of luck.

My dad accidentally did that once to my favorite angora sweater. It became my teddy's favorite sweater. LOL

Stretch...stretch...stretch it! But it will never be the same. Perhaps have someone larger than yourself wear the sweater to 'stretch' it out?

no you can't. you can try to stretch it but i think that would make it wrinkly and ugly.
