I've purchased a 2220 square foot house in Toronto, Canada and just got my first gas bill (covers heat and hot water gas) - The bill is for approx $250.00 per month, is this high, low or just right? I don't keep the house very hot and it's a brand new house. What do you pay for your house size?

Does anyone have any Decorating and/or Painting ideas for a boys room using Hot Wheels? My son is turning 7 in a couple of months and for his birthday we are updating his room. He wants it to have a Hot Wheels theme. I found Hot Wheels bedding but it is very ugly. He already has a red twin size race car shaped bed. I am looking for creative ideas for bedding, painting, and decorating!

I've been to office supply stores, consumer furniture stores, everywhere. I cannot find a non-sucky desk. Here is my criteria:

(1) All wood construction.

(2) No mandatory keyboard tray, no "monitor stand". Just a surface.

(3) No lip around the front to bump my legs.

(4) Kind of high up.

(5) No "knick knacks" - no CD holders are random surfaces where your legs are supposed to. Just 4 legs and a surface.

Where should I be looking?

I am very sensitive to something in my home and my doctor suggest that it is either dust, mold, yeast, or a cleaning toxin my maid used back in December. I tried steam cleaning all my carpets to try to remove the allergens/toxins. I also changed my air filter. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS??? I am to a point where I will try anything.

I have a linoleum floor in my dorm and dirt just sits on top of it. It builds up even though we take of the shoes we wear outside when we go in the room. Anyone know a good way to clean it up? I've had some success with the swiffer mop but it usually takes at least two sheets to clean everything up and I just don't have enough money to keep in constant supply of them. Anyone have any better ideas or want to share how they keep their floor clean?
