I've purchased a 2220 square foot house in Toronto, Canada and just got my first gas bill (covers heat and hot water gas) - The bill is for approx $250.00 per month, is this high, low or just right? I don't keep the house very hot and it's a brand new house. What do you pay for your house size?

Sounds about right.

I pay about $250 for my home and it is 1700SF. Although, I just had all the heating ducts replaced underneath my house a week ago, so hopefully that number will drop drastically!

I suppose our rates differ as well considering you are in Canada and I am in Oregon :)

2300 sq. ft. in northern Illinois gas bill is $110 per month year round on the budget plan. Gas heat, gas hot water, gas stove, and gas clothes dryer. Very well insulated, windows/doors are fair.
