For most of my other kitchen surfaces I use a Bleach /water solution which can not be used on porous surfaces. I know I can't ammonia, and I would like to avoid buying special expensive cleaners made especially for granite.

How to get rid of bugs?
About a month ago I noticed that I had these small cockroaches crawling on my computer desk at night. I would us the bug spray to kill them but they kept ocming back. A week ago I clean my room entirely and moved my computer desk to the other side of the room. Last night I noticed that there are more cockroaches on my computer desk. I don't get it. I clean my room almost perfectly and I thought I got rid of them. Where are they coming from? I have a wooden desk and we live in a trailer. Can any of that be the cause. I have almost tried everything and they keep coming back. Please help me out. If there is anymore info you need, just ask. Thanks so much for your help.

Someone Said that they are German Cockroaches and I have looked at some pics and I do believe that they are German. My last resort is calling pest control but is there another way of getting rid of them without costing me a fortune?

Just a little over a week ago, a group of girlfriends and I went barhopping and had a little too much to drink. Needless to say, one of my girlfriends went beyond her limit and puked all over the table, floor, and hit a majority of our belongings, including my purse.

I was able to clean the puke off, but the smell has been lingering for awhile. It's a suede purse with leather. Most of the smell comes from the area made of suede material. I've been scrubbing and spraying it with lysol and Febreeze, but it still hasn't gone away.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to rid the smell for good?

I am seeking advice on creative solutions to installing a downstairs toilet inan old vistorian house in the UK. Builders have looked at a cupboard and offered lots of reasons why this is impractical. I am convinced there is a solution. If we can put a man on the moon.......... One plumber mentioned that I look at Sanilav which appears to be device for an electric toilt that mashes and pumpes the waste to a normal soil outlet. I am not a DIY person so could usefully do with some tipis for those who have grappled with and solved this problem. Thanks

We have been around for a looonnnnnng time. We've lived on farms and in cities, but we just had occasional glimpses of lady bugs...until the last three months. They have invaded our motohome in east Texas, crawling all over by the dozens inside and out. They diminished after a cold snap but we are still seeing them. Has anyone ever experienced this?

My bath has red walls (Sherwin Williams Red Bay, Satin). I would like to have the overall effect of red walls, but I would like to add some interest to the walls with a faux finish, using the Red Bay color as a basecoat. Any suggestions on what to do from here???

and I was wondering if anyone knows why I keep getting air in the line? It will do this all day, and sometimes it will come on a few times without a hitch. Could I have water in the fuel or a leak somewhere? It runs on fuel oil, and its about 3 years old.

Can i use another product in addition to the preemergence? I know most preemergence will halt crabgrass already growing but we appear to have several types of weeds trying to take over. The weeds started in the last 10 days. Temps are 70's during the day, 40's at night.
