I have a prefab that is sitting on a slab. I am not the original owner of the house. When the cable was installed, they drilled holes in the corner of the floor and snaked up the cable. I was wondering if I could install the cable outlets that most houses come with, and if so, how do I go about it?

I can't believe how much these things cost, so I decided to make one. I need some good plans and some supplies that I could use. Does anyone know if I can get some 17" tubing or legs that are already round?

We have kids so we have ballpoint pen on the wall that just will not come off. We're going to paint now and since the ink will bleed through, we are going to use primer. My question is, can we just put primer over the offending marks or will the areas we used primer on look different than the non-primered areas when we paint? The reason I ask is because we have a lot of wall to paint and that's a ton of primer. If we can get away with buying less primer, we're going to do it.

How can I prevent mold from growing on the base of my electric toothbrush. The mold grows on the bottom of the toothbrush- where the base meets the charger. Thanks

I'm new at palm cultivation. Recently I collected a couple of seeds from a nearby foxtail palm but the seeds are still green... I heard they are red when ready to cultivate. If I put them at sun for some time would they become ready? They have to be at sun with fruit or without fruit? Or can I cultivate them green... even if they take some time to spread...

We are in the process of trying to landscape our front yard. I would like to find some fast growing really attractive but not messy trees. I dont mind leaves, but I do not want to have to deal with the mess that sometimes accompanies fruit trees. I would like for them to grow to no more than about 60 ft. tall. Any Suggestions? I would love to have trees that would provide wonderful color durning the fall and winter.
Thanks
Cheryl

We have done some pricing and it looks like the fencing that is in our budget is going to be a wood picket fence. Do you think that this would look good in front of a brick home with black/grey roof and grey trim work. Should I paint and what color do you recommend.
Thanks
Cheryl

is a delightful little plant inherited with this property, and I would like to either propagate or buy another. Can anyone tell me anything about it? I have it in Tasmania, and it could well be an Australian native, though unlikely. Thanks in advance to the many good gardeners who patrol these forums.

I'm tired of digging out the vacuum cleaner to do the area rug. It gets covered in dog fur (golden retriever) so fast and also cat fur. Do those carpet sweepers (not electric) work on this type of stuff? I want to know before I buy one.

If I have to digg down to pull it out, how deep do i have to go to make sure that the grass does not grow again.

The flow is fine throughout the rest of the house. The drop in pressure occurs when hot, cold or a combination of the two exceeds about 1/3 max. When the threshold is exceeded, pressure drops to about 1/6th max. It seems obvious to me that the problem is inside the faucet, but is there something simple I should check or is it a straight-forward replacement issue?
