What's a good colour to paint a bedroom?

As iam going to paint my bedroom in a few weeks and i want to have a nice claming colour in the bedroom its self.thanks

Blues are almost always calming. But it's important that you figure out what you like and what you can live with for at least a year. If you are going to paint, you won't want to re-paint for at least a year. Go the the paint supply. Pick out a maximum of 10 colors and take them home. Narrow it down to 5, then 3, then 2, then 1. Calming are some greens, blues and purples. Yellow can be soothing but energizing but the same could be said with some greens. there are so many colors that have so many blends and looks. Start by asking yourself what colors are calming to you. Then get sample paint swatches from the paint supply and narrow it down like I mentioned before. Good luck!

I Think Magnolia as well. But what colour is you floor and furniture. The colour you paint should reflect your surroundings. Bright green will not go with a red floor for example. You can get small paint testers from most DIY shops quite cheap. Get one or two and see how they luck.

Lilac is a nice soothing colour, that's the colour of my bedrom and there's plenty of accessories to match this colour about now.

i used a pastel sage color in mine and during the colder months i use burgandy comforter and curtains for warmth and in summer i lighten it up with creamy lacey curtains and a light shade on bed to make it cooler
