worm in my indoor plant?

i am growing parsley in my room, and i put a worm in the dirt with the plant...was this a good idea? well it get out and end up a stain in my carpit? well it kill the plant? is it good for the dirt that the plant is it?

it was not a bad idea and no the worm will not get out it will just lounge around in the dirt

That was no worm - it was a piece of string, and no, it'll be just fine.
