My husband has accumulated 75 (I counted) boxes of tea over 10 years, they are opened boxes of various kinds, and he still continues to buy more despite my protestations. We have a small apartment and no room for them and no one to give them away to and if I throw them out I'll never hear the end of it...any suggestions?

We bought a house last year with a septic system and we are new to septic systems. My septic tank's distribution box keeps overflowing especially after I have washed several loads of laundry in a row or several people have taken showers in a row. The tank was pumped less than a year ago when we bought the house. We have been using RID X regularly. Do we need to seek a septic tank specialist? Do we need a new septic system? (Please no)

I only want the plasterwork which is in good condition and the garage door painted. The eaves are only about 20ft high but are PVc and don't need painting. I don't want the windows done either as they are PVC too. Basically its just the walls. I live in devon if that makes any difference.

So, before I get started, I think it's worth mentioning that I live in a dorm. That being said... Last night, steaming hot water was coming out of our (hot) water faucets and the shower, and even the water in the toilet was warm/hot. It's not like you'd turn it on and it gradually got super steaming hot... Within a second of turning it on, there was steam. The plumber was called and now the faucet water is back to normal (still a little hot, but not melt-your-skin-off hot), but now the shower water is ice cold (even after running it for 10 minutes, with it turned all the way). On the floor below me, they had the same problem last night, but the shower is fine now. So, first, how does the water even get that hot in the first place, and second, what's going on with the shower now?

My little soap holder/handle thing fell off, so I went to reattach it, but by chipping away the old "glue" there were softened areas of wall that gave way and now I have a big hole in the wall! It smells like mold too. I stopped digging in there, because cleaning it out was creating a bigger problem. Help! It's the only shower in the house too, so it's an emergency - I don't want water to get in there, but tearing out all the tiles would be a HUGE job, and I don't know how to retile.

Help! Whilst removing the pollen bits from the flower I dropped one on the un-scotch guarded cream carpet! I used sellotape to get the dusty bits off and then used Vanish Oxi action carpet spray but it's just gone an even brighter shade of yellow. Any ideas? White wine vinegar? baking soda? Rug?! thank you!

Went to a furniture store yesterday to buy a regular mattress. The salesman said only one option available. We wanted a pillowtop mattress, ending up looking at a Simmons (I believe) did not look very pillowtop to me. He said something about getting this foam to put under the new mattress. We thought we could just buy the top mattress with no box springs. Any ideas on this subject? I really want a pillowtop mattress with like a 6.5 comfort zone.

I dropped a perfume bottle and it bounced off the porcelain lid of my loo. It now has a crack across the top. It is in a colour called wild sage which is pretty much out of fashion now. I want to know who on line or otherwise might sell me one.

There's two of us, not just my BF anymore. The winter seems to be a possible factor.
Why all of this dust?
The cleaning ladies do a great job, so it's not their laziness.
Are we just kicking it up in the living room? It seems to be close to the electrical equipment, though, and tha'ts where I'm hedging ym bets.
I've got nasty allergies, so this is actually important...
Thanks!
