I don't know about the clothes (I always just wash them, without any uncontaminated clothing). As for your skin, I was always told to take a HOT shower. What this allegedly does is open the pores of the skin and softens it, setting loose the glass fibers. Cold water closes the pores and tightens the grip.

I have done a number of times always with success.

My father has worked with insulation for 25 yrs....in your washer soak the clothes in cold water *no detergent* then run through a clean rinse. Once that is done, wash as normal using COLD water.
To get it off your skin, take a cold shower...as cold as you can stand.
Don't use a loofah or anything hard to "scratch" it off your skin, this will just drive the fiberglass deeper into your skin.

well as far as your clothes go, it is it a whole lot? You can try washing your clothes by them selves a couple of times them dry them. This works for me.

Now as to your skin... go to the store and get either vinegar or lemon juice(vinegar is cheaper, lemon juice smells better)get in the shower before you turn it on and pour the liquid over your body. Completely cover your self with it. Turn you shower on as cold as you can stand it. I use luke warm water, and rinse off. you can take a cloth and rub only one way, DOWN your arms and down your legs. This always works for me. The insulation sticks to the oil on your skin, the acid in the liquid strips off the oil.
