We have multizone oil heat (hot water baseboards) and the downstairs zone isn't working. I got a new thermostat, and I know I wired it correctly, but it still doesn't work. I don't know if this is helpful or not, but it sometimes usually worked in the morning. Now it doesn't turn on at all! Could there be something wrong with the zone valve?

I'm looking to buy my first home. I live in south-west Brisbane. A house I am inspecting today faces East. I've previously been told by someone that a North or South facing house is best. Any explanation?

What should I use to clean my kitchen table that is all wood? I usually just use windex after every meal. Is that okay? I've also used pledge to clean it. It just doesn't seem right to clean it with pledge even if it's all wood. To me the pledge doesn't get it really clean and just makes it really greasy. I don't want to eat on something greasy. Any suggestions?

We have had below freezing temps for about a week or so. The drain in my tub has been freezing periodically, but usually opens up if I put a bit of table salt down the drain. However, it's been extremely cold the last couple of days, and the drain is now frozen and nothing seems to help. My fiance thought it would be a great idea to fill the tub with hot water to get it to melt but that didn't work. Now we have a tub full of cold water, with a frozen drain. How do I getthe drain opened?? HELP!!

We Just moved into our house a few months ago and i want to paint my walls. Right now there is three sides, one side is wood which i like but the other two is wall paper. the wallpaper is pink flowers... thats what i hate! The other side of the room is open too the dinning room but has a fireplace breaking it up a little. so nothing needs to be done over there. Now we have a forest green couch set and the capret is a little bit lighter but very close to the couch color. I dont want white or beige walls i want it warmer look in the room but i know green will more then likly make it too green. i Dont know what eles to put up on the walls. there is more colors in our couch, there is a light brown which acts well with the wood sided wall and green and red. several shades of red and green in the pillows but the couch itself is all green. If anyone has n e ideas please give your input! thanks!

I have had a leaflet come from Srewfix direct, they are selling a Wylex 12 way fuse box including 10 minature circuit breakers 100 amp main switch, and a 63amp rcd for a split load for £46 + 10 free 2 gang sockets worth £12.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our fuse box needs updating was thinking about purchasing this item to keep for a later date to have installed by :-

A FULLY SKILLED PART P ELECTRICIAN TO INSTALL.

Our existing box is a Wylex with the main switch on the "right" hand side of the box

This new fuse box has a right hand main switch also on the right hand side.

Question.
What would a skilled part P electrician charge to fit this box with no complications.

Also some fuse boxes have a "left" hand main switch does this matter.
