My new house doesn't have a "grounded" power outlet in the room that I want to use for my PC. I remember hearing about using a grounded power outlet for PC's, do you know of an easy way to "ground" an outlet? does it depend on the wiring of the house, or is it just the receptacle type? Or, is there any other "safe" way to hook up a PC to an ungrounded outlet?

circulating pumps that circulate the water. We alternate the pumps monthly. Would is be of any benefit to run them both at the same time? Or would it harm the pumps? The problem we are having is the apartments at either ends of the building are not getting enough hot water to heat the apartments. The temperature here has been record breaking low (110 degrees at night and only getting to 4 above in the day). What else can we do?

I'm working on a valentines present for my girlfriend and have (almost) gotten to the assembly phase. I'm attempting to build a picture frame and have thus far sawed down the stump from our douglas fir christmas tree into 4 appox 1"x1" slats. Being that I've done this all by hand and it has taken approximately forever, I really don't want to risk the wood splitting. I don't currently own a drill so if I can find a way to safely pull this one off without pilot holes, it would help to save the expenditure of heading to Lowes and buying one. Any suggestions or ideas?

Mirrored Tiles?
I want to find mirrored tiles for one of the wall of my dark flat to make the most of the light. It is hard to find anyone who does mirrored tiles for the wall, that are not mosaic size. If anyone knows of a likley place I would be gratefull for the info.
I am in the UK so would prefer somewhere in the uk.
Bearing in mind that Local builders merchants and local glass companies do not do Mirrored Tiles. I have tried them all to no avail.

I have 4 cats and 2 dogs and need to wash my comforter frequently, but in general how often should you wash your comforter?
How can you clean it without ruining it in the washer? Even "super-sized" washers at the laundromat have ruined comforters for me....
