I just finished putting a full bathroom in my basement. What's a good color to paint it.

I assume there are no windows so you need to go very light to make it appear larger. I prefer the warm tones & neutrals - mocha, cafe, buttercream (ooooh, now I'm hungry) - these colors are very "right now" and good for resale value.Trim out baseboards or molding with white or cream.

I have also had eclectic clients who have used vibrant robins egg blue (NOT powder blue), tropical green or a light burnt orange for something a little more "fun". Only problem is you may need to repaint when you go to sell.

Something light -- If your basement doesn't have any windows.
Maybe a tan or cream color. Something light whatever you choice will make the room look bigger and brighter. I panited the ceiling white just to get an even brighter look -- you could then tie it all in with white trim board, or i light stain.

Mine is yellow with laminate floor.
I hateed the yellow colour (my whole basement was yellow), i repainted the basement and left the bathroom yellow.
I hate yellow so ill probley change it to a "guys" colour preference...mabey a light brown. However if anyone pees on the walls, you cant see it so thats a bonus :-) ANYTHING BUT WHITE!! or yellow or pink LOL

it depends on what kind of things that you like. i made mine half red and half white. the top is white and the bottom is red with a border in the middle that compliments both colors. my dad has one that is all white with a black and white checkerd floor. my aunts is a deep dark red with things that compliment that color. my neighbors is bright orange with other bright colors to contrast the orange.... it all depends on you and what you like. good luck.

hmmm

you could use 'ye olde dungeon' theme...dark, drab colors, rusty chains on the wall, rodents, lots of ice cold stone....
