sounds like vent pipe is freezing up with condensation.i've driven a pipe thru it from roof down to bust ice

Sounds like there is a blockage in one of your lines I heard the same noise your talking about and later on in the day I ended up having my whole living room filled with human waist .call a plumber rite away.Or figure out a way to un freeze your Drain pipe,maybe try using salt water or some sort of heat source.Good Luck

Just be thankful that your system flushes at all!! The noise will disappear when warmer weather arrives. If if doesn't, there is a blockage in the line!
