Pretreated, high pressured wood is recommended...you'll need about 22-23 6'X8' panels and if you can get each panel at less than thirty dollars, that's good. You'll also need about 17-19 4"x4"x8' posts...usually they go for $4-6 each. Also if you're going to have a gate, you'll to include cost for the gate hardware, (lock, latch, hinges...) that price can vary, I usually go with Stanley Products for hardware, seems to be more reasonable on price.
Labor: if you're doin' it, none, but if someone else is doing it, better plan on an hourly wage or flat rate for the labor on top of that. If you need to, you can also rent an motorized auger to dig post holes for you, usually a deposit and daily rental fee deducted from the deposit...

My estimating: about $785.00, plus hardware for gate costs for materials...Just a rough figure for you to think of....(Labor is going to vary) good luck. Tool rental will vary as well but usually isn't that expensive on a daily basis...but 17-19 holes could be dug up in one day's time. Good luck....

****OOPS forgot to mention...you'll half an 8lb bag of cement for each of the posts to set in for a more durable wall that will stand for along time...can mix the cement in the ground after placing the post into the ground....I'd use the wood deck screws to mount the panels and gates...

6X8 foot treated fence panels (pre-built) with 5/8 inch thickness are about $36 at Home Depot or Lowes. They are a good choice for general application and generally less expensive than cedar. Cedar has a few advantages in that it looks nicer and is pretty much insect and rot resistant - but not that much more so than treated wood. The 1 inch thick panels are roughly $10 more expensive and probably a better choice if you have pets (or other animals trying to get in). If you have uneven terrain, you'll be stuck building the fence yourself since obviously the pre-built panels are only good for flat ground, but the cost will be about the same. Don't forget to use galvanized nails so they don't rust.

I can't help you with the fence, as I am not in Nebraska. I'd recommend Cedar, and then put on a good weather proofing stain. The easiest way to do that is with a garden sprayer, that you pump up, and spray. You can get on two or three coats rather quickly, with little fuss.

Pre treated wood in fence form is ok, but you will get a longer servoce life out of cedar.

As far as the price per foot, assuming that you are going to use 4"x4" posts, and only 2 rails of 2" x 4" material, plus one 80lb bag of fence post concrete per two posts,, and a rented auger to dig the post holes, I would say that a contractor price would be about $14.00 - $18.00 a lineal foot..
