I am very fastidius with my laundry. I seperate. use proper temps., I don't over load & fill to tight, I use bleach correctly...sh*t!!
Tonight I washed a million loads & my whites came out dingy, yellow, & the treated spots are still there! (I usaully use a spot cleaner like oxy or one w/bleach) My favorite Tshirts & wife beaters are a mess! HHHHEEEELP!

I posted this in the decorating/remodeling section, but not getting much help, so I'll try again here.

The guy who lived in my condo before me gutted and remodeled the kitchen. He did a beautiful job, except for the plastering job on the soffets above the cabinets. The plastering job where the soffets meet the ceiling is uneven and irregular. I was thinking that instead of going through the hassle of sanding/replastering, I could cover it up with some narrow crown molding that matches my cabinets...they're a light natural wood color. Would this work?

I just got a new HH 187 and I can not use it yet. I plan on hooking it up to the 220 volt outlet for the dryer for now as that is the only 220 plug in the house for right now. Eventually I am going to run 220 out to the shop, but for right now I am just going to make an extension cord to use until I can wire the shop for 220.

So my question is what kind of wire do I need? What is the most affordable that will work safely? And approx. how much will it cost.

Thanks.

After purchasing a used Oiental rug that I was told had scattered stains and had to be cleaned, I found that some of the scattered stains appear to be paint. My carpet cleaners could not remove the stains. Is there any other method to remove these stains from a wool rug?

Okay, I think this is a flourescent light. It is like the kind you see hanging up at gas stations in the window. Well, this is a Miller Lite sign and me and my friend were playing around and broke a piece off. It detached one strand of light in the border and the piece wasn't too big yet wasn't too small. HOW CAN I FIX THIS THING? My dad will kill me if he sees it.

heat but no hot water? One of my clients has this system but the water from the tap is not getting hot when I run it, yet his house is warm (it's cold outside here in Canada). When I told him he had no hot water he touched his heaters and said they were warm.

My husband and I received a whole set of the awesome cookware for our wedding a year ago, love it, but had nowhere safe to keep it from scratching. My parents bought us the wall mount for Christmas this year, but the instructions basically say "good luck on your own" for figuring out how to get it on the wall. I couldn't believe it doesn't even recommend items to buy from the hardware store to do it!

We don't mind doing it of course, but does anyone who's had experience hanging wall pot racks know what kind of things we need to buy to hang it on the wall?

Thanks!

My aunt was backing up MY car. She didn't see the garage door open all the way and hit the bottom of the garage door. It won't open all the way, and it won't close all the way either.

I am interested in growing some peaches in my back yard. I live in Georgia, so this seems perfect. However, I was wondering if I could use seeds from peaches I bought at the store that were labeled from Chile, or not? I was thinking they might not work because they were cultivated for the climate of Chile, not Georgia. Should I wait and get seeds from Georgia Peaches?

If I run out of oil can I temporarily use kerosene until I get an oil delivery? I understand kersone is more refined than #2 home heating oil so I think it should work.
