"With the sheet inside out, place one hand in each of two adjacent corners.
Bring your right hand to your left, and fold the corner on your right hand over the one in your left, so the corner on top is right-side out. Next, reach down and pick up the corner that is adjacent to the one that was in your right hand (it will be hanging in front), and fold it over the other two corners; this third corner will be inside out."
Bring the last corner up, and fold it over the others so it is right-side out.
Lay the sheet on a flat surface.
Fold two edges in, so all the elastic is hidden.
Fold the strip of fabric into a rectangle. Continue folding until the rectangle is the size you want.

Do your best to bring two corners together for the first fold. Then use the folded edge to line up your next fold, and so on until the sheet is folded enough for your needs. This technique was taught to me by a monk at a monastery retreat. It's not perfect but all is forgivable when it comes to fitted sheets. ;-)

You don't! I hate folding fitted sheets, because no matter what you do the fold still looks messy.

My sugg. would be the same as those before me...they gave good intructions. I saw a TV guest on the View or something that said to spread it out on the bed, do something with the corners, then fold it when you've got control.....Good luck!!

For me it's a lost cause. I saw something on TV about how to fold them and I tried to mimic it, I failed terribly. Good luck, hope you have better luck than I did.
