My aunt was backing up MY car. She didn't see the garage door open all the way and hit the bottom of the garage door. It won't open all the way, and it won't close all the way either.

This is a loaded question, and hard to answer truly. If what you say is true, the fact that the bottom part of the door has been damaged, then, IF it's a sectional door, and not to old it's possible to be able to buy a replacement panel from a home building center. However, if the impact was great, then there is a possibility that there could be damage done to the side tracks and rollers on the door. Structural damage may also be done to the door frame, which is a part of the garage and separate from the door.
The best answer to this question would be to look in the Yellow Pages under Garage Doors or Overhead Doors and have a reputable dealer check it out for you. The size, particularly the width of the door will also be a factor in the repair costs.
Most home owner's insurance policies cover this sort of things and then all the costs would be is the deductible stipulated in your policy.

its not cheap when we were getting new ones i think it was around 2,500 that was for a 4 car garage but we lucked out and they got wrong color then right color but not insulated then they cracked the glass on the door but that day they left early and they never came back so we never got a bill maybe you will luck out also
