I agree with Marc. Most have the heating element.. I didn't know this untill I accidently forgot to slide my sink handel over to hot. (I have a manual hook up that I have to install every time =( )

Try it out a few times and see how well they come out. It may determine on what kind of soap your using too, otherwise they should come out clean. I also suggest rinsing of the dishes before you use the machine too, some can get clogged.

Certainly it is. Your client will have to pay closer attention to rinsing before placing the dishes in the dish washer. Some high end dishwashers will actually heat the water in addition to the hot water it is fed.

Sure it is....dishwasher have a heating element that encircles the bottom of the unit. Most people think that this element is simply for drying the dishes once the cycles are done, but it also heats the water during the cycles if the water temperature is not optimal.

Hope that helps. Have a good weekend. :)

The dishwasher has its own heating coil. That 's how the machine gets hot enough to sterilize & dry your dishes. It should work even if your water isn't hot.

It may be o.k as long as the water is running in it But It won't get the Dishes Very Clean !! You need hot water to clean your dishes and get rid of Germs !

Pamela G has the answer, as the only water to the dishwasher is the cold water and it has its own heater..
