Okay, I think this is a flourescent light. It is like the kind you see hanging up at gas stations in the window. Well, this is a Miller Lite sign and me and my friend were playing around and broke a piece off. It detached one strand of light in the border and the piece wasn't too big yet wasn't too small. HOW CAN I FIX THIS THING? My dad will kill me if he sees it.

This is a Neon sign and it will take a professional to fix it. The best thing you can do is go straight up to your dad, tell him it was an accident and apoligize. If your dad is cool that should be enough. If he is a hard a** , offer to work it off doing chores around the house. A Miller Lite neon sign is not an item hard to replace. Start off by asking him ... "Dad when you were young , did you ever do something you felt really bad about?"
The longer you put it off the harder it will be. Be prepared for the worst that can happen and it will not be that bad.

u got neon my boy...and thats bad.. most neons in the USA take 120V and convert to like 500VDC...to strike the arc.

As my dad used to say..."Give your heart to God, son, cause your *** belongs to me..."
