We spray with insect repellant when we see a collection and basically spray the whole house when we go out. I dont think there is anything specific that they are after as they are always in different places of the house. We live in australia, and are getting some variations in weather from 24 to 40 degrees celsius and its not humid. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated?

I want to replace my mom's countertop with something that looks nice from Home Depot - the cheap formica stuff they have now. My question is how do I deal with the corner? Do I miter it or butt end it? I'm sure this is not the right language but I hope you know what I mean. The counter is L-shaped and I don't know how to manage the corner. Thanks for any help you can offer.

You know clothes can shrink obviously and be much smaller than before, a couple of times I've washed t-shirts and while not shrunk a lot they feel frustratingly shorter. Do they shrink just a wee bit and how is the best way to avoid this?

I'm washing a load of light clothes that could shrink. Should I set the washer to 'cold cold' or 'warm cold'?

Hey guys I just started to experience some weird black stuff coming on my wall...but I am not sure what is the reason. I live in a apartment and its my own heating that I pay for. So i turn it on in a moderate way like only when I'm home and only the rooms that I need. So I have a little doubt that it is heating problem but I am not sure. Please help me to find out what is the cause, if its heating I will keep it on every time in the apartment.

I've tried the cheap air mattresses from stores like Walmart and Zellers and they are not very good. They're too small first of all, waterbed queen is 60" x 84". Second, they don't hold the air very well, you have to top them up every few days. Thanks in advance for any info..

My daughter recently joined Girl Scouts and when I ironed on her intial badges, I put the American Flag on the wrong side of the vest. Is it possible to remove the badges I ironed on and re-iron them back onto the vest in the right spot?

If not, does anyone know how strict the Girl Scouts are about that sort of thing? I'd hate to spend the money on the vest and badges all over again.

Thanks!
