My kitchen sinks will drain slowly for a week, then seem to drain properly for a period of time, and then drain slowly again for another period of time. At the same time, other sinks in the house on the same floor level drain properly. What could it be?

I am holding a 40th Birthday Party at my home at the end of February and as I have samll house I am erecting a 3m x 9m enclosed gazebo in my back garden leading off the kitchen door. I am decorating the room etc but how can I make it more inviting for people to enter the gazebo and not congregate in the kitchen which is only quite small. Any ideas please

Alcove is 100cm, shelves are 120cm.
What is the best way to cut them to size without chipping the veneer.
Can you fit the brackets slightly offset or centrally ie take 10 cm off each end or take 20cm off one end

...Apparently they are all the rage up North. But i cant find anyone who sells them. It also has to be portable with a free Huskie and a sea lion that speaks Eskimoian. Surely, somewhere has to sell them! If all else fails, then i'll just settle for some sticky back plastic and make one myself like they do on Blue Peter.

Tried pest control firms but they all say it'll be around £100, but they'll come back in a couple of months. What I need is either a good way to get rid of them permanently, or a cheap regular thing I can do.

We are having a horrible time trying to catch the mice in our house. We have one sticky trap and two "snapping" traps set with peanut butter on them and they arent working.
