I have a craftsman 6.5 HP push mower. Its been acting up recently. What its been doing is: I start it up and it runs strong for about 5 minuets, after that it starts sputtering and shuts off. Then it wont start back up for at least 15 minuets. Anyone know how to fix this?

We have a motion sensor light on our garage and for the last couple of weeks it has been staying on all the time. Does anyone have a clue-why. It's driving me bonkers-the light shines in my bedroom!

This is a 20 year old solar water heating system that has been woking fine up until just recently. It has a Grundfos A8207 pump, and Heliotrope General Delta-t+ DTT-74 control box. The lights at the control box indicate power there, but the pump does not appear to come on (even when switched to "manual mode"). How do I determine if the problem is in the pump, or in the control box? There are no obvious frayed wires etc, and no other apparent damage. Any helpful suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I have one of those small lift-top apartment mailboxes mounted on the side of my house. These mailboxes of course have no flags. How else could I let the carrier know that the letters in my box are for him/her to _take_, not yesterday's mail that I forgot to bring into the house?

Most of the wood trim in my early 20th centruy home is stained a dark wood. I purchased the house with all new white windows recently added. As nice as the new windows are for energy bills, with the shades or drapes drawn it looks horrible - the white against the dark wood. I like the wood, but see no other possibilities. Am I making a bigger deal out of it than I should or should I definitely paint the wood white to match? Thanks.

I buy the real small containers and make sure that I close them tight when I am done but when I go back to use it a month or so later it has already started hardening. I end up throwing it and going and buying more. can you soften or moisten it again?

We are looking at a house for sale. We really like it but know we will outgrow it quickly as it only has two bedrooms. The ceiling in the main part of the house is vaulted. Eventually we would like to add a second story, just over the bedrooms, leaving the vaulted ceilings alone or as a loft to the new second floor. The house is block and solid, would this be possible? and about how much does this sort of thing cost?

Thanks!

I bought a a ceramic heater but it doesn't seem to work all that great. I have it in my living room, about 300-400 sf I would guess. I can only feel the heat when I put my hand directly in front of it. Im trying to save $$ by using this instead of the gas furnace. Does anyone know of a good energy efficient heater?

1. Get all of the wrinkles out of them?

and

2. Keep them static free (only seems to be a problem while we're putting them up)

We bought a mostly polyester scarf for our sliding glass door, and of course, initially, it's very wrinkled. I followed the washing directions without detergent (wash cold, tumble low) to try to get the wrinkles out, and it removed the folding wrinkles, but it seems that if it sits in the dryer for a SECOND after it's done, it wrinkles all over again. I don't have a vertical steamer - how else can I ease the wrinkles?

And also, how can I keep them from the static while we're trying to situate them on the on the rod?

Thank you, in advance, for your help!

I have two windows in my sitting room. The only thing you can see from one is my garage about 43" away from the house. I'm not very good at visualizing. Please any suggestions are good.

I know it's not the season yet, but I just went out there to put more stuff in it and found more nests in it, I doubt it could be air sealed, so is there somthing I could throw around that they don't like? Once spring comes I want to know what to do.

I'm a 24/f I recently moved and while packing i realized just how unorganized i really am, i was wondering if anybody has any organization tips for any part of the house, kitchen, bedroom, bath, etc. Its just me and my husband but we have a good amount of belongings, i have many clothes, purses and shoes, not a ton of closet space so i bought a couple of those plastic closets, we moved into an adorable 2 bedroom duplex, so we do have a spare bedroom, any advice would be greatly appreciated
