toilet water is cold, the air in your bathroom is warm, thats why there's condensation. Go to a hardware store and buy a 1 inch styroform sheet. cut the sheet to fit the inner sides of your tank. you need to buy a glue that works in water. you can only apply the clue after you drain it and dry

Edmo,
We had the same problem and the above answers are right, as far as they go. We tapped into the warm water under the sink by the shut-off valve. If you don't have one, this is a good time to put one in. We put another shut-off on the line going to the toilet to regulate the amount of hot water that goes to the tank. (we don't need it warm, just room temperature) During the summer, we turn it off.
I'm sure if you don't know how to do this, Lowes may be able to get you the right stuff, or a handy friend, or you may need to hire a plumber?!?!?! I don't know what the codes are where you live, or how handy (or un-handy) you are.
The interior insulation didn't work for us. It was messy and cut down on the water flow, so it wouldn't flush completely.
Piping warm water works. It is solvable. Take heart!
Good luck!

One option would be to coat the toilet lightly with an oridinary soap and wipe away only the excess. It's going to happen whenever there's moisture in the air. Unless you have hot-water toilet, the moisture is always going to pool when there is a cool surface.

the water in the tank is a lot colder then the tempature in the room, therefore unless you have heated water running into your tiolet you will get condensation.
