My soon to be 4 year-old son decided to draw with a ball point ink pen on the dresser in his playroom. Is there any way to get it off with normal cleaners?

We go through bars of soap very quickly & certain brands tend to be a little mushy. Also, our shower seems to get dirty quickly (& I've lived in quite a few different apartmets). We get brownish pink spots on the shower walls.

For example hit one switch it turns light on, then use other switch and it does not come on unless the other switch is turned off and then the other switch turned on? Its confusing?

I have an indoor palm tree that is just about touching the ceiling with a stem that is a good 6 feet. Can I cut the top off without killing the plant? It only has leaves at the top so I will be left with a stem in dirt wondering if it will form new leaves?

Black n Decher stainless steel, perminent filter, I have tried water, bleach, vinegar, water over and over then ran hot sriing water and such for days then just water about 10 times. The pot is immaculate (baking soda and viinegar) No matter what I do the whole thing smells like bad water or something ANY OTHER CLEANERS? ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ? I've installed a 1/2 hp Craftsman garage door opener and it works really well, however there is an electrical humming noise that kind of scares me. I don't think it's the motor, sounds more like a transformer type hum. Is this something to be concerned with?
