My soon to be 4 year-old son decided to draw with a ball point ink pen on the dresser in his playroom. Is there any way to get it off with normal cleaners?

Just old fashioned cheap hair spray works great. It will take ball point ink off of alot of things. It may take more than one application. Spray it on to the ink, let it sit for a minute or two, (you should see it start to dissolve the ink right away) then wipe it with a clean cloth. If it is sticky from the hair spray, just clean it with warm damp cloth and maybe just a tad of mild soap and dry. We don't want to get your wood soaked. I've used hair spray for ink in my job, (housekeeper), and it has always worked well for me.

Use ink remover, sand paper and get the part polished with the help of readymade polish available with the carpenters.

try nail polish bumped off; if that would not artwork, try a more suitable solvent alongside with "Oops" - you should be able to get it at any paint or ironmongery keep. be particular to attempt it on an area it truly is not obvious, merely in case this is able to dissolving the plastic (besides the actual incontrovertible truth that i do not do not ignore that you'll do any extra damage than permanant-marker makeup on the face!) strong success.
