how can i fix the wallpaper?

Unless you tell us what it is doing/has done, we are unable to help.

If the existing wallpaper is hard to rip off, wet it.
If the wall is lumpy, sand it
If the wallpaper is dirty, wash it gently with soap and water
If the kids have crayonned on it, leave it there for a conversation piece
If you don't like the present color, buy more and replace it
Wow, I can't think of any more stuff
