I've just made some fitted wardrobes that run the entire length of a wall and want to make the doors from wall cladding timber. Each door will be 2.5m tall and 0.5m wide. I intend to make the frames from 25mm x 50mm pse then fasten the cladding boards to them. The doors will sit proud of the wardrobe frame. (so as to hide it) Just wondering which hinges I should use and is there any difference.

The front of my oven door? My oven is white like the rest of my appliances, but the glass on the door is black.

You can see that the glass slides out & can be changed. SO where can I get another glass piece from? Its a Hotpoint by GE?

I got a cat palm tree from a freind and some of the soil is missing and I was wondering if anyone knows what type I need, or some helpful links to some website on how to take care of it. I live in chicago so I don't know if I have to have a differernt type of soil then a warmer city would. The tree is in my house.

There are random bangs coming from my aluminum air ducts throughout the day and night. They make it very hard to concentrate and to sleep. What could they be? My mom and I just moved into this house in July. Could it be the house settling or something else? Thanks!!

It seems to me that making the wall surfaces flat was a great deal of work for not much return. One could argue that this made the interior walls nicer, but what would be the advantage of making the exterior walls flat?

The difference is that the first link is basic and only comes in red. The other 2 links are the the larger ones and quiet glide and it comes in red, black and roayl blue. Also, which color should I get? I like (and him too) the classic red... but he does have a beautiful roayl blue chevy blazer & I am somewhat leaning towards the blue chest. So which one do you think I should buy and what color? I plan to buy the full/whole big combo unit.

In the past we have had bad luck with connecting too many strands of lights, and blowing fuses, forgetting to turn off the lights and running up high electic bills, etc. I know there are things you can buy at the store like timers, etc. I am wondering what items are really good for this and whether it is worth it to buy the more costly items for quality, etc. My 11 year old son really wants to do most of the decorating, and has done an excellent job in the past, so I want to help him learn the correct way to do this.
