I have a light up tree. I need to know one type of string I could use to put on it to make it NOT catch on fire. FIRE SAFE STRING Please and ideas for the ornaments.

Check the boxes that the lights come in, most of them will tell you if they are safe for indoor or outdoor use. However in addition you will also need to take into consideration how man strands of lights you are going to use on your tree. Most lights will tell you that for example you should not plug more than say two stands together (has to do with the fuse built into the strand of lights, to many and the fuse will overload).

Look at the boxes, it should say if they are highly flamable or not.
