In winter water very infrequently, once every 1-2 months.Choose a south- facing windowsill, in summer some shade might be necessary. A period outdoors in summer is beneficial.Add a liquid fertilizer for house plants to water.

Jade plants don't care. A basic rule for planting and transplanting is when the soil temperature is between 60º and 70º. Autumn or late Spring.

Let the soil dry out completely before watering it. My Jade is about that big, too. It dries out completely about every 2 weeks. It depends on the environment that it is in right now for how frequently to water. But when you water it, don't give it much. I fertiize mine about every 3 months.
