Good question. Doing different routine chores on different days... helps (like a schedule) Make a decorative "chores" wall chart... to make it more fun. After 'so many' chores, take a break and do something for yourself.
Playing the radio loud on some music that motivates YOU (I like upbeat rock n' roll for housework)
Of course it is NOT pointless, because if you didn't do it - you'd soon learn the point! LOL And it is so much harder to keep up when it has slipped. But I understand the boredom of it since it is the same old same old all the time.
If you are doing it for your family, and not just yourself - remind yourself of why you are doing it - and that it is your special gift for them... whether or not they realize it. Making home life nicer....

Remember, a house should be clean enough to be healthy, but dirty enough to be happy!
Ya gotta have you're own life, too. A housewife is not a woman that married a house! Tee,hee
Seriously, put some music on. Pick and choose what really needs to be done, and what your'e really in the mood for.
It's the best exercise gym there is! And ya don't have to pay anybody to exercise you, or do you're house for you, so you save twice! All this and a Kool lookin' house, and figure, know what I mean?
That's a great oportunity, if ya know what I mean. If you are home and can make you're own hours it's good. It can be hard if you work besides.
But it can be so peaceful and meditative! For people who work besides, it can be a low impact way to unwind. And unbinding kind of thing, kind o' let loose at the same time. And use creativity and recreate, bring things back in to focus as you do something like straighten out a little sock, you also straighten out the problems of life along with that.
But get enough sunlight! Even just getting out a few minutes a day can make all the difference. And don't forget to take you out of there, now and then.

excellent question. I venture to assume that 80 p.cent of the population has the same problem/issue like yours. I hope technology will come up with an answer very soon. I am also getting tired of this endless chores and mostly repetitive. I did read some of the published answers --the cleaning woman does not show up on time, plus when she does show -- it is nerv wrecking to instruct the new one on what to do and not do. The real solution is to win the lottery and to live in an apt/hotel where the maid is part of the concierge service. Until then -- listening to music might help...i doubt, because i am hard of hearing besides while the vacuum is on -- music will sound awful. if u do get an interesting suggestion --post it -- we all need your help.

I,ve been a stay homestead mom previously and that i know that like something in life it has its united statesand downs, yet common, that's the main rewarding interest which you will ever know, and each and all the advantages will come to you whilst your little ones start to strengthen up and alter into adults. you're doing the terrific factor for those childrens with the help of staying homestead with them, yet whilst they're shall we are saying a protracted time 5 and up, why no longer get a factor time interest exterior of the homestead? Or bypass to college for some hours an afternoon? What worrys me is that lots of ladies human beings locate themselves in a rut whilst the little ones strengthen older and initiate fending for themselves and then the mother feels melancholy and regrets, i decide so which you would be able to no longer look back and experience sorry approximately no longer something! So have a plan of action. Theirs many stuff different then homestead initiatives to maintain you occupied, you may donate some time at a close-by womans shelter, the holiday journeys are coming and its consistently severe high quality to assist others who're no longer so fortunate. stable success

Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

do it to rowdy music, you end up getting an aerobic workout at the same time, music improves your mood, and you tend to start moving in time to the music, which usually means scrubbing faster than you would in silence, and you are done faster. then reward yourself in what ever way you see fit!
