I have a zip up hoodie that is pink that I would like to be white. What do you think is the best way to go about this? Do I just submerge it in bleach? How long would it take? Any reverse effects?

Any ideas on what I can do to get more water pressure in my home? We are on a well. Pressure seems to vary between different fixtures (bathroom vs. kitchen) the main problem is the shower. It really needs a boost of pressure. We have changed the tank, and pump in the last year, we also maintain the filter at the pump, any tricks anyone knows of?

We pay $3000 a month for a one bedroom doorman building apartment on the upper east side in Manhattan and the water in the kitchen has no pressure and it takes forever to get warm. Sometimes the water in the bathroom must be left running for several minutes before we can take a shower. We complained, and they said that it's because it's on the 12th floor.....so the water pressure is not as good. Isn't this complete nonesense?

We are looking to refurbish my wife's childhood homemade wooden dollhouse for our children (for Christmas). It has some mildew and a rather musty smell. We have seen it mentioned to use a biocide on porous surfaces and were thus hoping someone might be able to recommend a solution (and/or cleanser that can be purchased) that will remove and prevent future mold/mildew. Anything used would have to be safe for children. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks so much!!

I went on a trip, and put my suede jacket in my bag. I put my oil in the same bag, for some stupid reason. When I got home I noticed the stain. Please can someone help me. The jacket is tan color. Thank you in advance.

I've had various aloe plants through the years and they have never produced flowers, yet I know they do. Is there some special procedure you have to follow like putting them in a dark room?

WHAT I AM REALLY LOOKING FOR:

I want a website that gives an example with #'s and equiptment for how I can make my deck/patio feel like it's 80 degree's when it's really like 15 degrees outside. I don't care about the cost of the heaters but I want to see a website that talks about a working example of something like this and the equiptment used.

Thanks very much

I have 2 three way switches that turn on a light. I wanted to add another light and an outlet. I took the 2 wires off the original light and put 3 pairs of new wire on it. One to old light, 1 to new light, 1 to outlet. New light read 120v and works great. New outlet reads 120v and what I plug in works. Old light reads 40v and will not glow. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I just bought my 1st. place in August and I've started to notice some problems. First, there's a vertical crack in the wall above the door frame in my bedroom and outside the same door frame, as well.. when should I start to worry about the size of the crack?? It's def. not a hairline crack and I'm hoping it's just settling.. Also, the stairs up to the 2nd. floor have gotten pretty squeaky in the last few months.. At first it was 1 stair, now its about 3-4 stairs.. the stairs are fully carpeted and not easy to get to for repair.. The units used to be old apartment buildings back in the early 70's and they were all refurbished with new carpets, tile, paint, etc and sold as condominiums.. could it just be an aged building thing?? or should I worry or complain?
