Don't allow people to smoke in your house
nor pee in your pool

Nor should you spit in the wind.

I've scrubbed walls with cigarette residue and it's disgusting, time-consuming, sticky, and almost impossible to get completely off. Try getting most of it off with soap and warm water, then painting over the walls with Killz brand white primer. This stuff will cover almost any kind of stain without letting the stain bleed through. Then repaint the walls something darker, perhaps (and this is gross, but you know it's true) a dark yellow, beige, or brown so that your future cigarette stains won't be so obvious. Or pick a different color and just quit smoking.

It's a totally sucky job, but if you want clean walls you have to scrub them down with T.S.P. It's a little time consuming but once the walls are done and clean, you'll sit back and enjoy your clean dingy free room.

Use Windex. Just spray it on and wipe off. Cuts through the cigarette film.
