It sounds as if it may be. Regardless of whether it is vintage or not,your handerchief sounds perfectly lovely. I think it would be a nice accessory in your bedroom, maybe displayed in a tray or box with some other knick-knacks and silk daisies, perhaps.
Your place of purchase should provide a clue. If it's an antique store or mall, chances are good that your hanky is old. Items purchased from thrift stores or yard sales are more difficult when it comes to determining age/origin.
You could always take it to a dealer who specializes in antique/vintage linens or clothing and ask.
